Flower shops accepted into our 8-week internship program will agree to hire our certified graduates for 8-weeks. This can be full-time or part-time. At the successful completion of the internship, the flower shop will receive $300 from the PAFA.
The Pennsylvania Floral Academy (PAFA) is committed to preparing students for the floral industry, elevating the status of floral education, and helping each student develop their own panache. Placing students into internship programs that will provide real life experience is just one of the many action steps in place to help us achieve the goal of PAFA. Although internships are not guaranteed, placement is likely.
If you are interested in starting a career in the floral industry apply for our Spring semester (start date March 5,2018). There is no application fee and twelve seats are available.
